Working with Investments
Screen BS431S03 (with screenshots)
To display this screen:
Select an Account in the initial screen (BS431S01) of program
Investments-BS431
Click the Add button. In the shortcut menu which appears, click the Add a Security option
-OR-
Select an existing Investment.
Click the Edit
button. In the shortcut menu which appears, click the Edit <security name> option
Note: <security name> will be the name of the Investment selected
In this section:
Updating Prices
Temporarily, there are 3 Get Price buttons.
You
need to enter a Ticker/Smmbol befopre using these buttons.
Get Price (Method1)
This method may
work without a : (colon) in the Symbol. - its optional, but recommended.
e.g. MSFT
Get Price (Method2)
This method looks for a : (colon) in the Symbol.
e.g. NASDAQ:MSFT
Get Fund Price
This method has been developed for one Security type:- Fund
e.g. GB00xxxxCK92.L (where
x= a number)
