Starting the program
On the Main Menu, click the Setup tab then click More Preferences - BS428

About the program
This program allows you to create
additional User Profiles.
Users and User Profiles
The default user is Admin. This User Profile is active when you start Bank Genie after
installation.
If more than one person (user) uses Bank Genie you have the option to create a profile for each user
Each user can control his/her own
preferences using the Preferences Program.
e.g. User A may prefer a large font size for easier access.
User B may prefer a
particular Font.
User C may prefer to use the system with Window Shading feature turned off
Since screen sizes and screen positions are saved for each
User Profile as you work with Bank Genie, the overall look and feel of the system can be dramatically different for each User.
This can be accomplished by
creating a User profile for each user.
When you choose large fonts, you may have to resize screens, so that the captions are not truncated
User Profiles are NOT related to database protection.
See the section Password Protection to learn how to create Security Profiles in relation to data access.
Adding a new User Profile

Enter a new User Name and click the Add button
Deleting User Profiles
Start this program (User Profiles - BS428)

Click to select the User Name to be deleted and Click
the Delete button

Click the Delete button
Note: The Main User
profile is required and protected by the system.
It cannot be deleted.
The system will issue a warning if you attempt to delete the Main User profile.
If
you delete User Profiles leaving only the Main Profile, the system will resort to its initial state.
i.e. The User login screen will not appear when you start
Bank Genie.
Choosing a User Profile when starting Bank Genie
When you have defined two or more User profiles a new screen will appear on Bank Genie startup.

Simply
use the pop-up to select one of the User Profiles created for your Bank Genie system
You do not have to enter a password to select a User Profile.
The
main screen will indicate the name of the User selected at start up.

When logged in, each user
can control his/her own preferences using the Preferences Program.
Choosing a different User Profile
To change to a different User Profile, simply exit
Bank Genie and start again.
Select the User Profile of your choice when the User Selection appears.
